On the way home from work today I was pleased to find a fat envelope awaiting me in my mail box. Upon opening this is what I saw:
As you can see, inside were ten samples of a new drink from @Lipton that mixes honey, green tea and fruit, in this case mango and pineapple. One key to this Perk is that it was all free. Perks that make a person pay for shipping, especially when the shipping is close to equal value of the product doesn’t fit my definition of perk. I also like the post card sized note inside addressing me as an “influencer”. Now whether or not I’m truly an influencer is up for debate, but it feels nice to be called one by a companies like Klout and Lipton. It’s also smart to include coupons if I decide to but the product in the future. One negative — The packaging advertises six flavors and I received ten samples but all are the same flavor. What if I don’t like mango (which I don’t)? Oh well, hopefully the honey, tea and pineapple overpower it.
Cheers, time for me to drink some tea!
